Fightback becomes a colour monthly!

Capitalism is in crisis as never before; more than ever, workers and youth need a Marxist analysis to make sense of it all. From the crisis in manufacturing to factory occupations, from the Venezuelan revolution to the coalition debacle, for the last 10 years Fightback has been on the front line, giving activists the answers they need. Political events are changing rapidly and to make sure we meet the need, we have decided to make Fightback a monthly paper. We are able to do this due to the inflow of support Fightback has received; more and more people are coming to understand that capitalism is a failed system and we need a socialist alternative.

In addition to moving to 10-issues per year (a monthly except in the summer and at Christmas), we are revolutionizing our layout and design. The most noticeable addition is the colour front cover. Through this we hope to professionalize our message so we can reach more people and become a more prominent voice of the workers and oppressed.

At the same time that Fightback is moving to a colour monthly, the supporters of the International Marxist Tendency in Quebec are launching La Riposte. La Riposte will be a bilingual French-English paper that will be a voice for all sections of the working class in Quebec. The forces of Marxism are moving forward across the Canadian state. Help Our Great Leap Forward!

Taking this important step forward obviously comes with increased costs, both materially and in terms of human resources. Fightback has no big business backers and we rely on the support of our readers and supporters to provide an answer to the apologists of capitalism.
