As the news about Israel’s pager attack on Lebanon hit the news, the University of Ottawa’s Special Advisor on Antisemitism, Artur Wilczynski, made a series of celebratory social media posts. “Today’s targeting of Hezbollah operatives was brilliant. It struck a major blow against a terror group that has fired thousands of rockets against civilians all while the useless UN mission in Lebanon stands by. There is a price to pay,” he wrote on X. The ones “paying the price” were two innocent children who lost their lives and thousands of wounded civilians. Wilczynski’s posts immediately caused a public backlash and he was forced to resign from his position. We say good riddance to Artur Wilczynski. But he is only one of many such “antisemitism advisers” employed by universities across Canada to bully students, professors, and university workers who show sympathy to the plight of the Palestinian people.
