Before we could bring Marxism to our fellow students, they brought it to
us!

At the end of our second walkout at Toronto Metropolitan University, we broke into groups to discuss Palestine, and the need for a student strike. During our discussion, one student asked, “isn’t this basically the question of the proletarians versus the bourgeoisie?” Before we could bring Marxism to our fellow students, they brought it to us! We jumped on the opportunity, talking about Communist Revolution and the ideas inside it. Most of the students in the circle wanted a copy. Since then, that one student has come out to cell meetings, eager to learn about Marxism, and excited to be a part of the struggle against the bourgeoisie. By being there, talking to the students about our ideas, it was easy to find students who want to fight for a better world, who want to fight for communism.
